Growing up in Pennsylvania Molly began working professionally at age thirteen at Philadelphia the Prince Music Theater in a production called The Snow Queen. In the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods in 2002, she was awarded an award called the Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. It was recast when Molly made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. Molly was awarded an award from the Drama League Award for this performance. Molly was also part of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. Then, she attended Princeton University and was a member of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree the year 2008. in Religious Studies. In the same time, she appeared in a film for the first time, Disney The College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Molly worked in TV in shows like Royal Pains, and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a part of several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, at Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Molly played Anne. Molly is most well-known for playing Ali, a teenage daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt wrote and directed.
