Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actor and performer whose performance range earned her popular acclaim across a range of genres from period drama to thriller and action adventure. Johansson daughter of an architect and producer was brought up within New York City. Hunter, her twin brother and She were both the youngest out of four children. At the age of seven years old, her love of acting had grown. She began to audition for commercials. After that, she was enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and then attended the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further refine her skills. In the age of eight, she starred with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry when she was nine. At that age, she made her debut in film as Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson made her debut on screen in Just Cause, but she made her debut with Manny & Lo, a film that follows orphaned siblings as they flee. Her next film won the attention of critics for her character as a teenage girl who been injured in a horrific accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and gained more attention as cynical teen outcast Rebecca in Ghost World (2001). In addition to her role on the television show she also worked as a stage actor for many years. Her fame is based on her exceptional performances in such plays as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a teenager when she first began her professional career as an entertainer. When she was a kid, Smith became interested with acting. Smith got her first of her acting gigs when she was just 6. On a TV commercial, she starred as Dannon Yogurt. As many new actresses choose to pursue, she decided to build her talents in the theatre. In addition, she worked on other projects throughout the USA as well, and Wildflower was her first onstage production. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
